Privacy Policy — Fingerinth

Summary

The Fingerinth iOS app collects no personal data. It sends anonymous crash reports via Sentry (no names, emails, or identifiers) and anonymous usage signals via TelemetryDeck (no personal data, GDPR/COPPA compliant). This marketing website uses Yandex.Metrika analytics — see "Website analytics" below.

What the app stores

The app stores the following data locally on your device only, in iOS UserDefaults:

Levels you have completed (used to unlock the next one)
Your best times for each level
Your in-app-purchase entitlements (cached from the App Store receipt)
Your audio mute preference

None of this data leaves your device. Deleting the app removes all of it.

Crash reporting

The app uses Sentry (Sentry, Inc., San Francisco, CA) to automatically capture crash reports. A crash report contains: device model, iOS version, app version, and the stack trace of the crash. It does not contain your name, Apple ID, location, or any personally identifiable information.

Anonymous usage analytics

The app uses TelemetryDeck to count events such as level starts, level completions, and theme selections. TelemetryDeck is designed to be privacy-first: signals are hashed before transmission and cannot be linked to individual users. No personal data is collected. TelemetryDeck is GDPR and COPPA compliant and does not require an ATT consent prompt.

What we don't do (in the iOS app)

No advertising SDKs
No third-party trackers or ad networks inside the app
No user accounts, sign-ups, or logins
No Firebase, Crashlytics, Mixpanel, or other data-heavy analytics

Website analytics

This marketing website (fingerinth.aposnov.dev) uses Yandex.Metrika to count visits, see which pages people read, and which links they click. Yandex.Metrika is hosted by Yandex N.V. (Schiphol, Netherlands).

What Yandex.Metrika receives from your browser: page URL, referrer, screen size, browser/OS strings, anonymized IP, and a per-browser cookie ID. We use the standard tag with webvisor, clickmap, and trackLinks enabled.

The iOS game itself does not use Yandex.Metrika or any other analytics. Website analytics apply only to visits of this site, not to running the app.

To opt out: enable "Do Not Track" in your browser, use a Yandex.Metrika opt-out extension, or block the mc.yandex.ru domain.

In-app purchases

The app contains in-app purchases (the Neon Grid Pack and the Forest Pack) processed by Apple via StoreKit. We do not see your payment details, your Apple ID, or your billing address. Apple's privacy policy applies to those transactions:

Children's privacy

Fingerinth is rated 4+ and is safe for children. Because we collect no data, COPPA, GDPR-K, and similar children's privacy regulations are not triggered.

Changes to this policy

If this privacy policy changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Since we don't collect contact info, we can't notify you directly.
